Hi Jakeryanitc-
I just found out today I'm there with you... but my sheet shows me coming into Charleston on the 10th. Just curious as to how your AB Cubbie is going to make it to South Carolina before me, when we're on the same boat? Are you jumping ship? Getting met by a speed boat 10 miles out? Have a private chopper waiting for you??? (just messin' with you!)
I hope our cars are enjoying their leisurely cruise across the puddle. Hope they're not spending too much time at the bar
Best - Vivi

the schedule shows the SNH docking in Charleston on the 9th and that was confirmed by my MA. I just wish they push the hyper drive button and it gets here like a week early! I just set up the sale of my old car for the 12th, so I hope it isn't too long after that, otherwise I will be sans auto.
Vivi, where are you located? Somewhere near me?

Jakeryanitc- I'm in Middle TN. I come thru your way (just north on 70) every summer on our way home from out west.
I'm happy with the boat taking it's time and avoiding any bad weather out there. Certainly don't want MochaLatte to be green... as she's supposed to be brown! No seasick cars
Yeah- I just looked at the status sheet I was given by my MA- it shows eta to Charleston on the 9th. Then a few biz daze in the VDC, and then it shows a train ride on Norfolk Southern... then to my dealer, where I get tinted windows/sunroof & roof racks - I am going to be out of town over columbus day, so this actually works for me (otherwise I'd have to leave MochaLatte in my DH's hands- and I'd never get her back!)

Vivi, it looks like this update is really just for you...but I just got word from my dealership that the SNH is now looking like it is going to port a day late on 10/10/08. That means that everything will probably be a day behind unless it gets in early in the morning and can start the VDC process the same day...

I'm not surprised Jakeryanitc... I think there's more weather out in the Atlantic... heard something about a Hurricane Laura heading towards Newfoundland, but is expecting to take a right turn towards Ireland, Scotland & Northern England.
Hmmmm.....
Hope our cars are wearing their life vests-

Yup- we are docking today! It's pouring rain here in Middle TN, a good thing as we're in a drought- altho while we really need rain, we don't need it all at once. I haven't checked the weather in Charleston, I'm hoping it's balmy and nice, that MochaLatte is all tanned and rested. Now comes the fun stuff. Insurance, money, and arranging for the long pick up - woo hoo. Sometime next week I will be in car nirvana, says she hopefully!
