Hey guys,

Just wanted to post and say that I've been looking for a suitable R53 for the past several weeks. Well, I traded my '02 Audi A4 for an '02 CR R53 on Saturday. Plan on playing around with it today and tomorrow and see 'where I'm at'. I'm a lifelong VW/Audi/Porsche guy, so I don't it's a stretch that the MINI hooked me after I drove one.

Thanks guys! I was planning on washing/washing/detailing today, but it's raining and kinda' cool. So, I did the next best thing - went out driving! Went and picked up a friend of mine and played a little. I know I'm preaching to the choir, but man this car is a hoot! It reminds me of my old GTI - only with power! I can only imagine how much fun it'll be once I add an intake, pulley and exhaust. Heck, for now, I'm happy!
