Hey, I just joined the club. Happy Holidays all!
I bought a used 2005 Cooper S convertible. Actually the car had 2500 miles, so I guess you can say it looks brand new.
I am storing the car for the winter. Any advice as to what I should do as far as winterizing it?
Also, I am thinking of going with a JCW tuning kit in the fall. The thing is the dealer wants about 6K. I know I can buy the kit for about 4K, has anyone had the kit installed for a better price? Besides, that's a lot of money and I'm not sure it's the best way to go to improve performance. Any thoughts?

You don't say what part of the country you are from but unless there is 10 feet or more of snow at a time, why garage? Our little guy loves to frolic in the snow and ice. Poke around in here and look at all the winter driving photos. Good snow tyres make the difference as well as driving like a fighter pilot keeping your mind a good 10 or 15 seconds ahead of your car.
Check your antifreeze and wiper fluid with a hydrometer and get out there. Have fun with your MINI.
