Hi folks,

My ordered 2009 Clubman has been sitting in the paint shop in Oxford for the whole holiday break. When I go to the Owner's Lounge and check the order detail, it just says this next to Interior Description: "pnt" (I ordered HC Lounge Leather)

All of the other options from my order are listed - exterior color, packages, fog lights, etc. The only thing that isn't explicit is the HC leather. Should I be concerned? Probably just normal anxiety for an on-order motorer, but if I should be worried I want to raise alarms before the factory starts up again. Thanks.

 

Give your Dealership a call and see if they can clarify what you are seeing in the Owner's Lounge...I assume that is where you are getting your information from.

Actually, whenever I called MINI USA directly (not sure of the number, think it was (866) 275-6464) they were always able to provide much more detail on my order, including the current state of the car, than was the Owner's Lounge. I would start there, then try the dealership.

 

The Owners Lounge is usually pretty far behind. I would call you MA or MINI USA. They will have much more up to date information. I picked up my car about 2 weeks ago and the owners lounge still says that the car is at the VDC.

However, last I knew they had shut down production on Sunday December 7th and are not going to resume until January 5th and then also shutdown for January 9-11th a weekend.

So, you car could be sitting in the paint shop for another couple weeks i'm afraid.
