New to the MINI, but not to cars!
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself. I just recently picked up (a week ago) my brand new 2009 Mini Cooper S in Dark Silver Metallic.
This is my first brand new car, and I absolutely love love love it!
I purchased here locally from Sandia MINI and had a good experience there. I only have about 200 miles on it, as its my daily driver.
My previous car was a VW Corrado VR6 turbo. Daily driven at about 400hp to the wheels.
I needed something reliable to say the least.
I kind of went all out and they had one on the lot that I loved, and had a lot of options already.
Dark Silver Metallic, cold weather package, convenience package, xenon lights, anthracite headliner, hifi stereo, piano black trim, etc.
I am very impressed with the way the MINI handles, and just how it feels as a daily in general.
I hope to meet a lot of you and contribute to the forums!!

Congratulations and welcome. I got my Clubbie last February at Sandia and I joined the New Mexico MINI Club at nmmini.org shortly thereafter. I can't make the weekly type events due to living almost 300 miles from Albuquerque but I have made a couple of runs with them. A great bunch of guys and gals!
