Mellow Yellow Clubman S

Mellow Yellow Clubman S
As is protocol, I'm introducing myself to the group. My mini is an '08 Clubman S, converted to Mello Yello as part of a factory/dealer/ accessory manufacturer custom collaboration for the SEMA show.
It's a rather a long story, but in a nutshell I used to build the show cars/trucks for an aftermarket accessory company. For the '08 show we wanted to do up a Clubman as a taxicab.
Of course we all know MY is the perfect taxi color, but when I went to order the car, for some reason they said they would not offer the S in MY. Money often isn't an impediment on these projects, so I tried to work with the factory to pay extra for the custom color. No dice on the paint, but they would allow us to order MY interior leather trim. They suggested we order a black car with the leather trim, and simply have it painted MY when it arrived, and voila!, I had MY Clubman S.
I used some of the checkered flag motif interior trim and upholstery options, plus some aftermarket pieces to finish out the exterior, and XXR donated some black wheels with MY striping.
Before I got started on engine mods the company decided to scrap SEMA due to the economy, so I just bought the car from them to tool around in.
In homage to the original Clubman, I put a 60's era Leyland Clubman badge on the back.
I will be up at Helenblitz, and hope to meet a lot of folks with suggestions on what I should do next.
