Yahoooooo! New MCS!

So after a few months of test driving many cars my wife and chose a 09' MCS. Pepper White w/few options; BlueTooth/USB/Ipod, Rear fog lights, and Multi-function steering wheel. Just the necessities This is by far the funnest car I have ever driven and I am elated about the purchase, I can see why most of you are so passionate about their Mini's.

I have read many of the various threads here and I thank all of you for your knowledge, insight, and help in getting me to this final decision. I look forward to many years with our new MCS!

Congrats!!! The best may be yet ahead....for me getting used to the car took a month or so, and then I really began to appreciate all the little things that made this little car so great. I am still just as impressed almost two years later!!!

That is just what I like to hear. I am so impressed with it already and can hardly wait to get in and drive it. I have a new commute that is a 90 mile round trip and it is wonderful to drive...not only did I smile the whole time enjoying the ride, I averaged 36.6 MPG! I Could not believe it!

Congratulations, nice looking PW. How has it been the past few days of driving?

That is good MPG, but you really need to push it a bit after it is past break-in mileage.

Enjoy and drive safe.

This first week has far surpassed my expectations. Never would I have thought that owning a car, so fun to drive, would return such great gas mileage. The torque is amazing for such a small engine. And the ride, even with the non-sport suspension is just incredible. I cannot wait until the Break-in period is over.

My commute will be taking me from Concord to Corte Madera (Marin County) so I have to go over a bridge but the MC makes it all that more enjoyable. Looking at the MPG gives me that though.
