Just did a check up on the owner's lounge (as well as ASK-MINI) and it seems my MINI has been BORN & awaiting transport!

BTW I've got a name, and I think it's perfect. People aren't kidding when they say that the name will present itself. Now the question is, do I tell everyone or wait until I see the car in person to be certain that it fits?

I'm thinking the latter...

On Purnt - wait until you see the car, and then drive it for a bit. I had the name picked before I ordered, and had I gotten the Laser Blue S I originally wanted, the name just would not have worked. As soon as I saw my Oxyblue Cooper, I knew the name (and color choice) was right!

Here's the update...

The MINI is now at the Southampton dock and is being loaded on to the Don Pasquale which is due in NY on 5/22. Which actually works out because we're going away on the 21st and returning on 26th. So if all works out we should hopefully be picking it up shortly after we return!

Anyone have idea how long it generally takes for it to be ready after it arrives at the dock?

I put pictures of Stella on the Week 17 or 19 thread.. I can't figure out how to put them on two at the same time! I LOVE HER!!!!! SO WORTH THE WAIT!!! I have put almost 350 miles on her in 5 days. Can't wait to see everyone's babies! OnPUrnt... I know the wait sucks. I waited exactly 7 weeks to the day. It made me feel better to know many more mini lovers waited WAY longer... it will be soon!!! Just a tip... everyone get your work done before you pick it up. You will do nothing but drive

The 5/6 weeks of torture are finally over. The bulldog has landed.

I'll let the pics speak for themselves:

This car rules.

And for the record all those still waiting I checked the owners lounge today just for kicks, and it says that its still at the VDC. Call your MA, they really DO know more about whats going on.
