I was pulling up the boats for NY, man yours is like a 7-8 day boat ride,, mines like double. looks like you will get yours at least 1 maybe 2 weeks before me! too cool!

I just read the info on transport. Interesting. Looks like we have the same carrier. After talking with a few friends who have gone through this process, it looks like the car should arrive at my dealer in Albany NY about three weeks from the first production date. That seems quick to me. Keep updating your progress, I will do the same.

I guess I can jump in here as I just confirmed with Askmini that my BRG Clubby S started life on May 13 9:18 am with an estimated completion date of May 22. I posted over on first gear but then saw the Week 21 post.

BRG with black roof/checkered board top, 6 speed, Limited Slip, black webspokes, bonnet stripe and lounge seats.

I even have the VIN

My BRG Clubman also started production on May 13.

when we get on the boat we will have 300 some VIN #'s some of the first parts cover model numbers etc..WMW means it a mini, then the next 5 are going to be the Chassis type which you to should have the same. the 9 number I can't find anyone that know what that one is for, 10th is the model year (200#) 11th should be a "T" for the Oxford plant, 12th you two should have the same it's like a model #, last 5 are the production series numbers. (which I think tell about some of your options) from what I can tell we will be tracking our VIN#'s, when we get on the dock I guess we get on the WW website plug in our vin#'s and find out which boat. then we can track the boat for a little while.

 

Interesting information... My Clubman is not a(n) S.

 

after the WMW there should be ? ML33 for a clubman, or MM33 for a Clubman S, at least that's what my notes say??

The last two times I've called askMINI their computer was down and they could not provide any information.

 

same here I got a hold of them late last night and they said I was in the paint shop... I called the automated ask mini this morning and it said I was in transit... but the boat still leaves next week there is one that is leaving today but I know that's not happen. The Fedora leaves on the 26th hopefully we can all catch that one

I just found out from Ask mini that I should stop bothering then and start bothering my MA as my Mini is sitting at the dock waiting for a boat!!!!

I'm trying to figure out what to do next as I want to figure out which boat I'm going to be on.

 

Welcome I guess your the oldest so far. Hopefully we will all be on the deck of our cruise ship having one of those little fancy drinks with the unbrella in it from what I gathered we have to keep checking the tracking website to see when we get a boat, once we get a boat we can track it a little longer before it gets too far out in the pond, then we might get some weather reports that will give us a idea as to where it is. There is one there today leaving today called the "Independence II" the one I think we might get the "Fedora" which leaves on the 26th.

Atomic, I would assume yours is going to Charleston as well.

Did you get the JCW engine package as well or just the Aero kit? I'm in the same boat as you. once the car gets to port I still have to wait for them to paint and install the areo kit. Has your MA given you a price for the areo installation yet? Mine was going to plook into having it done a thte port to possibly save me some money onthe install. I would be curious to know what your kits cost as well as the install price?
