I got a funny little book of MINI sayings/advice today. I love their marketing department.

 

Yay! My MINI is now in the body shop.

 

Tiffany (Yes, I named her) is in the body shop . The estimated completion date is Saturday.

 

I'm not sure about my completion date, but mine started production yesterday morning. Maybe I'll get through quick and be done this week . If not then I guess I'll be week 27.

 

It might be missing some parts if they finish it this week .

Which ship do you think we'll catch? Wilhelmsen has the Courage leaving July 8th bound for NY and Charleston, or might we catch an earlier boat?

Not sure, havn't started to look for boats yet. I figured I'll deal with that step when we get out of the factory.

Getting on Saturday's ship would be sweet! But I don't think we will have time to get there. Unless we complete production in the early AM friday, and get a train to Southampton right away. I can live with setting sail on the anniversary of the last day of British rule of the the colonies .

Hi everyone! A noob here. My wife has wanted a Mini for years now. We finally 'ordered ' one last month and was scheduled for 'Completed production on the 23rd', so I guess I'm seeking refuge here!

Yeah, if you read all the fine print, they do have some clever little sayings buried in there! I actually read the fine print in what they send me!

I hope it doesn't sit until then.

Bad news , no K-line ships to NY(Newark).....Good news probably WW ship Fedora leaves Southampton June 30 arrives Newark July 9 so yours will probably be on WW Fedora, mine on a K-line ship (going to Charleston)

It's actually my wife's car and the 9th is her birthday. Our MA said he would know the date he would have it once it's on the ship.

 

Well, I have some good news and bad news. The Good news, my MINI is now becoming Interchange Yellow. The bad news, my estimated completion date got bumped back to the 28th . Can I stay in the week 26 group even though I'm looking at being a week 27 now.

 

Seems like we should keep you and if it's done on the 28th I'd bet there is still a good chance it'll make the Fedora on the 30th...

How did you find out that your's was in the Body shop and the finish dates and changes.....I called Ask Mini and all I got was it was scheduled to be finished on the 26th..

 

Just by calling ASK-MINI. Depending on your rep you'll get different amounts of information.
