So I keep checking the Owner's Lounge and for the first time in a long time his 'review order'. It says my delivery date is today, the 17th. However, I still want the HC interior items installed prior to pickup (along with mudflaps).
Suddenly hopeful for this weekend!?
Suddenly hopeful for this weekend!?
Mine says pick-up date is today, yet has its status as still at the distribution center, when I know that my MINI is chilling at the dealers right now...
If you really want to know when, call the dealer! I emailed my MA several times and he was very willing to answer my questions.

Crossing my fingers for this weekend!

However, I find watching it this far out to be such torture as you wonder why it isn't going faster.

Looks like she only has 220 miles to go - and since she can't dock until 6 am tomorrow morning, I guess she has to slow down.
But, at least we can see the end is near! ![Grin](https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/images/smilies/grin.gif)
If my math is right, at 17.7 knots the Porgy covers 20 miles in an hour - so, she has 11 hours to go at her current speed to reach Port Heuneme. Maybe she will arrive early
and they can start unloading first thing Friday morning - and thus get all the Priority One cars processed through the VDC before the weekend.
Someone call the transporter company and tell them to get ready to load up their trucks - we are waiting!

Good News!
If they can dock at 9 pm tonight and get the ramps ready and all the hold-down straps removed overnight, they should be able to unload and start processing cars through the VDC early tomorrow morning. And, especially if the VDC operates on Saturday, we might be lucky and have our cars loaded on the transport trucks this weekend.

Aargh....just took a look at Google maps and found that it's ONLY 30.5 miles from dealer to home. That's just not right! Gotta find a new way home. A long way home.

However, the ELEKTRA didn't trasmit to that site until she was very close to Long Island.
When she's close you switch over to
http://www.marinetraffic.com. Click on 'Vessels' tab and search by name. If she's in range she'll show up in the search results. You can then view her on the map.
FAUST is on the NY/NJ Schedule. Set to arrive at 7:00 tomorrow. She's following the ELEKTRA's route, as in her first stop is to discharge the MINIs and BMWs.
http://www.firstnynj.com/ (click on Vessel Activity, then search).

Yeah, darned ship.wx.com still shows her in the middle of the Atlantic. Although I watched her come into and leave Halifax over 26.235 hours ago (approximately). I took so many screen shots of the departure from Halifax that if you put all the pictures together it would be like one of those books we had as kids where when you flipped the pages you could see minute by minute progress and movement.
