Hello !! =)
hi everyone, i just wanted to introduce myself i'm Cynthia Orozco aka Chi, i'm from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and I got here on an effort to look for some pros and cons about the mini convertible and help to decide whether to buy a mini convertible (which was my first choice) or the hardtop (after thinking that a convertible might not be too good)
i had a 2005 mini but know i'm driving a jeep unlimited (as you may see im used to the topless experience) but i know its not exactly the same driving a jeep that driving a mini !! ... and i'm used to the noise with the top up but i was expecting the mini to be quieter... but well... im about to read threads all over the forum and if i can't make a choice i will come back and ask for your help !!!
thank you !

I have an '09 MCS convertible and it is relatively quiet. I did not notice an '08 MCS hatchback loaner that I recently had being that much quieter than my convertible. I have the top down almost ALL the time. A MINI is great. A CONVERTIBLE MINI with the top down is extraordinarly fun. You can hear the purr of the exhaust and it is way too cool
