Options? Boy will you get plenty of opinions - MINI are very customized. I struggled, then showed now constraint and checked all packages. Not the lowest cost option but I really enjoy all the "toys" and goodies.

Happy (future) Motoring. MINIusa.com is now updated to allow you to configure a new 2010 model.

Welcome!
Tell us what you want in a car and any constraints. There are no shortage of opinions on what we will think you will need in you MINI.

With your dogs, I don't think a dark cloth interior would be good (analogous to rubbing against your dogs while wearing a dark sweater). I would suggest the leather or the leatherette.

I've always been partial to brown with touches of white and black in a Bernese. Leather collar, nothing synthetic.

And I think a Clubman should be tricked out like a sporty car and not treated by my Dad's Nash Rambler stationwagon.

Sounds good so far! Good luck with your purchase! I went the "do I really need that" route and still found I ended up getting more than I thought I needed but not too much more. The sun roof is a must IMHO!

thanks!

On some days, I am happy to hand them over! They are 2 yo and 1 yo. I hadn't had puppies or yonug dogs in a while. My 2 'first' dogs, both labs, passed away a year apart at 13 and 13.5 yo. I had forgotten how much 'pups' require!

PS. I am going Saturday to start the process!!!

Anticipation is building...... We have to wait until Saturday? Does the dealer have some clubbies in stock or are you going to await the birth of this mini?

well, they have some instock, but I want probably most options...

I also want the auto trans since I am not a good stick driver and I do drive in traffic 50% of the time. So, I am probably going to order one...I have narrowed down the colors: PW, HC or CR. I want it to be fun! so, grab some and watch me change my mind a thousand times!!!

ok, this clubbie is for me and the dogs... the dogs are black, brown and white...my best interpretation of the Bernese Mountain dog is Pepper white with a black top and hot choc lounge leather interior. What do you think so far???

I like it.

I still think you should go with the manual rather than auto, but that's because I'll never go back to an automatic if I can help it.

I picked up my Pepper white S mid December with the Mayfair package. I LOVE how the 3 colors work together. The toffee interior & the accents work well with the white! Go for it!

I thoroughly enjoy having the manual trans. The automatic seems to sap some of the peppiness out of the car, and I've found the MINI clutch is quite forgiving for beginners. You'd get used to it in no time!
