First post!
Hey everyone,
Just thought I'd drop in and say hello! We hail from Calgary Alberta where wife and I recently acquired a 2003 MINI Cooper with the infamous CVT transmission
The car was originally owned by a MINI sales person, and has been maintained exceptionally well including a new transmission cooler, and replacement fluid each year.
We've been eyeing the Cooper since it's inception in 2002, however could not justify the price of buying a new one at the time since we already had two other vehicles in our fleet! This car will be our urban commuter/every day driver which means it will see all kinds of roads and weather conditions. Thus far, it has been great and trouble free. The only problem I seem to have is the dwindling balance in my bank account what with all the cool/nifty accessories and mods on the market.
Our other vehicles are a 2007 Honda Ridgeline, and a 2007 BMW 335i. We adore the little Cooper, and despite it's 115HP and auto tranny, it is a real charm to drive.
Attached are a couple of pics.
Looking forward to participating on the forum!
