Just got my first Mini

Greeting all,
I just took delivery of my first Mini (R55 JCW). Having a hard time trying to do the recommended brake-in and keeping it under 4500 rpms.
It sure is a blast to drive.
Great forum and lots of good advice.
Thanks

Congratulations!

Take your time and do break-in right. Your new MINI will reward you for that

It helps if you don't push the "Sport" button for a while.

There are all sorts of opinions on breakin period. Its probably best to stick with the manual, but if you slip up once or twice nobody will know.

I am sure you are having fun - I know I am (new owner also). One benefit to buying used --- no break in period!
