I've been a lurker for a long time with a strong interest in mini's.

Sold my '87 Carrera about 5 weeks ago and finally locked on a mini that met my price/condition criteria. I am the proud owner of a blue 2005 MCS w/43k miles.

Seems a very nice ride, totally stock, so let the mods begin

I am in the triangle area of NC, so any pointers to favorite independent mechanics appreciated (I see we now have a new for real Mini dealer in Raleigh).

Finally, NAM will quit suggesting I make my first post
