My fiancee got a new Mini Cooper. Looking on doing some little mods to it. Still trying to research on the stuff I want to it. Having a hard time finding any good places online to shop.

I really trying to find good parts. I not looking to buy stuff that are replica or just copied parts. Trying to find some quality parts to put on the Mini. Thanks for the info Saturn and Way Motor Works. You can check out my blog www.doubledgarage.com You can see how me and my friend mod cars. We don't buy wack parts. Thanks for the help.

Been looking really hard to find good parts. I not use to buying oem parts for my cars. -
Looking to get the jcs front grill to make the chili red look better. Trying to get rid of all
The chrome on the outside.I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the m7 strut brace
Is worth it or not? They say mini strut tower mounts tend to get mushroomed. Wondering
If its worth buying or not? Since cali roads are pretty bad.

Still haven't found a great site for all my needs. I guess there are just not that many places to shop for online mini parts.

If you didn't find the parts you want at the websites linked in the NAM Vendor Directory (posted earlier in the thread) then you might want to start to manufacture your own parts. Those vendors are among the absolute best in the business for MINI parts.

for a start

MOSSmini.com

minimania.com

is this a new MINI meaning a 2009 or 10 aka a GEN2

or

new to you/her and actually a GEN1

and equally important an S or "just a Cooper"

big difference in the mod-part markets . . . .

the JCW grill ain't exactly rocket science . . . and how many folks would want to copy it? The metal mesh replacements for the lower grill of the GEN1 didn't sell well I suspect, since we don't see an effort to replicate for the GEN2 . . . but just my opinion based on observation.

I'm from the suby world too. There are a lot of suby shops....95% of them suck.

The easy way to do things is make a list of what you want and call or email Way Motor Works.

I ordered some parts from outmotoring. My girl has a 2010 mini cooper. Its a gen 2 or r56. I really like modding cars. I drive a suby. There a huge aftermarket support for that car. Thought the mini would have more aftermarket support since its been out so long. I just keep on looking for stuff for the mini. Thanks for the help.

Not saying the vendor are bad. It just don't have stuff I'm looking for. Most them have like one part. Then another site has another part. I don't see that many big name companies making parts for the Mini. Just to name a few for Suby. HKS, Greddy, Zerosport, Cusco, Prodrive and there alot more. I don't see that many big name companies making parts. I just trying to find good quality product to install on the Mini. I'm just putting my foot into the door of the Euro market. I know alot more on the JDM market. Alot of my friend have modded cars. They get special and hard to find JDM parts. Any help would be nice. Sorry if I'm getting people mad. That is not why I'm posting. I'm just trying to find some good answers and links. I know ASM makes some good stuff but it's all for older gen mini.

You're surprised a ton of Japanese companies have more parts for a Japanese car then a German/British car?

JDM is overrated.....big names are overrated....trust me. Especially suspension...

Thanks for the ideas. I found most of the stuff I want to do to the Mini for now. Not saying JDM tuning is better then Euro. I just want to find some good quality parts for the Mini. I just didn't want to buy some junk stuff and waste my money. Since I don't know about JDM already. That is why I'm posting on the forums and asking for some links to some good site. Well I have a blog. www.doubledgarge.com That the style of cars me and my friend builds. I'm just love to mod cars. I'm even modding a car that isn't really mine. Thanks for all the help. I just keep on searching.
