My Mayfair is on Shanghai Highway. It was supposed to be in Maryland yesterday, and in Charleston tomorrow. I found a tracking site but it's position hasn't been updated for 9 days.

I'm crossing my fingers that it will be at the dealer next week. I ordered mine on December 7th, so I've been waiting quite a while.

The Port of Charleston website says that Shanghai Highway is estimated to arrive on the 18th. I wonder how accurate that is?

My boy is currently expected to be produced during week 6 (Feb 8) and I was wondering if anybody else out there was waiting with me. I noticed that as soon as the order was placed time started to sloooowwww waaaayyyy doooowwwnnnnnn.
The object of my obsession?
2010 MCS, stick shift, Mayfair edition, pepper white w/ black roof, toffee bonnet stripes, toffee interior, chrome inside and out (including bonnet scoop), convenience and cold weather packages, white turn signals, h/k sound system, auto AC, anthracite headliner.
I'll pick him up at Crown Mini in Richmond, so he'll come in through NYC.

Awesome thanks for the update. Looks like it will be in Charleston late tomorrow night. Wow this is getting very close now I can almost taste it. That sounded weird ... but my Clubman has Hot Chocolate paint and has Hot Chocolate leather so maybe its not too weird to taste it?

Thanks, Scott. I didn't get to see a "real" one completely done up the way I ordered, but I've seen ones that are close on here. Can't wait!

I guess I belong here! My MINI (yet unnamed, working on whittling down the short list) was born on 2/11/10, and is on the Don Carlos headed to New York.
I didn't get to wait through production this time - they found exactly what I ordered sitting at the dock yesterday before it loaded, so it shaved off some of the wait time.
My O2B/W will be one of the very last O2Bs made. Kind of sad. It will be replacing my 2006 R50, which I love dearly and is even sadder.

Out of curiosity, how did you figure that out? I'm still new at this, so I'm never sure to whom these questions should be directed so far as my MA, etc. Thanks!
