Just can't wait!

I test drove a mini today, what a rush!I've found a used 03 that I like, but I'm not sure the price is that good. Can anybody tell me if this is a good deal? It's a cooper s with 71500 miles, it needs tires and it has some worn thru spots on the drivers leather seat.Their asking 13k for it.It also has a power sun roof but no turbo.I haven't looked around that much as north central Louisiana is without a dealer. Any help would be appreciated.

A '03 MINI Cooper S will not have a turbo.

It will have a supercharger.

Price is probably a tad high for an '03, depends on what shape the body and interior are in, how does it drive? any rust? I would certainly have it checked out by a mechanic particularly the supercharger and gearbox. Pull a Carfax on it. If it is "straight" I would suggest $11,000 or less.

I agree with BensMini. 13k is high. I've seen newer Cooper S cars in the 11-12k range on craigslist around here in Indiana lately. As I recall I saw an '06 Cooper S for $11,500 or so just yesterday in great condition. Shop around a little and you can get a better deal and a newer MINI.

Ok im from south Louisiana on the bayou . yes the dealership is in Baton Rouge not too far a ride for you from central LA . They have a nice selection of used Coopers there & new ones of course ! I my self just got my 09 Just a Cooper last march and love it ! Dealership in baton rouge is great so far . Salesman are great on the Mini Side but on the BMW side jerks ! Look it up on MINIUSA.COM then go to shop and search baton rouge. You can see what they have on the lot . You can ask questions over the internet if you see something you like . Best sales guys are Siya Creel & Rafael Rojas great guys !They will help you ! Or look on Autotrader.com for mini's near you used ones . I hope i helped you out ! WHO DAT WHO DAT Going to beat them SAINTS ! Later El Tiger LSU
