Hello from the Noobie

Hello everyone,

My name is Joel. I live in the Washington D.C. metro area. I have a 2004 Pepper White Mini Cooper S. I have had it since late September, and it is nothing but a dream. I have only done aesthetic modifications thus far, but come April I plan on installing an aftermarket exhaust, followed by a cold air intake, and a 19% reduction pulley. I would like to get the bhp right around 250ish, and than go from there.

I love meeting new owners, and long drives. Unfortunately the bulk of owners in my area are not true enthusiasts or I simply have not been in the right place at the right time to come across any here. The Capitol Area sub forum is unactive, but I plan to change that, along with driving to various meets on the Eastern seaboard to meet some of you.

Modifications:
Breyton Race GTS-R Mini 18"
John Cooper Works Glossy Black Upper Grille
20% tint

My ride:

BAV, try Mach V Motorsports in Sterling, VA. I've had them do all of may maintenance and mods on 2 MINIs (Pulleys, CAI, Coil-overs, Camber Plates, Rear Control Arms, Wheels and Tires). They are enthusiats, install what they sell as well as what you get from other Sources. They are listed on the Vendor directory.
