You can spend hours here and learn much.

One caution - most message boards regardless of the make of the car - will have many posts by those with problems. You can't tell what percentage of cars have a particular problem and people are more likely to post about problems than "all is well" type posts.

Certainly, MINI's are not perfect but I am a car enthusiast and have been driving forover 30 years and I enjoy my MINI more than any car I have owned.

Welcome! I'm a new Clubman owner, have a girlfriend from SA, and just spent a month there over the holidays. It's a great country! I hope you're able to get your own MINI soon!
