Hi to all. I just joined the forum to get some information on the best way to replace the drive belt. Found the thread and got the informaiton and ordered the correct tool. Thanks forum.

I was replacing a noisey right half shaft and thought that while I had the car up on blocks and waiting for a new outer ball joint (crushed the threads on the old one, gotta remember to use less torque and more hammer on the ball joints). Thought I would do the drive belt. Now I am waiting for the tool. It's time to change the oil next.

I have a 2003 Cooper S and am located in northern Illinois.
