What a beautiful area. Your english is fine.

Do you see many of the newer Fiat 500's running around? Fiat will import them here in the US next year and many MINI fans are watching this. We heard the other day that the Fiat Abarth will have 170 HP when imported in the US. Could give MINI some competition here.

I am from Klagenfurt/Villach/Wolfsberg There are plenty of Fiat500s around here - do not forget: italy is not that far away. i drove an Abarth once. i did not like it that much, because i am to tall for the Fiat and its not as nice to drive as the mini.

Welcome aboard my friend. I spent lots of time in Wien, in the 90's. At that time I was the Treasurer of Creditanstalt USA, then Creditanstalt-Bank Austria USA. I guess even in Austria there's lots of former employees of these banks. My family and I spent at least 2 months a year, for 11 years in Austria. We loved Austria, it's such a beautiful country.

The World seems small. How much have you actually seen from Austria? Have you ever been to the South with all the lakes and forrests?

Yes over the years we vacationed all over Austria. We were as far south as Graz, beautiful wine area. We spent time in Salzburg, what a fun city. The bank owned a ski village in Innsbruck , and it was almost free for me as an employee. That's where we learned to ski. Wien is just magnificent. We had so so many good times there. The food, the sights, the parks, but mostly the wonderful people. My wife used to insist we go to the Opera House, that was not fun for me, but we did it anyway. I never got tired of going to the Spanish Riding Academy, some of those horses were smarter than me. Ha ha.

It's a shame that you never been to Klagenfurt or at least carinthia, which is by the way the best part of Austria - not because of political supidity but pure beautifulness. *g*
No you are right, Skiing in Tyrol is awesome and the area around Graz is also really pretty.
Vienna has a lot of nice features, opera would not be my first choice either, but it has more than that - and sometimes has a man to give in to get some peace
