Hi from the Philippines!

Hi Mini owners! I want to seek advice regarding wheels. I have an R56 and was thinking of changing my rims. I'm choosing between a 17s or 18s. I know 18s look great but i dont want to compromise the ride and comfort since the roads here are not that even. I recently purchased a koni fsd absorbers which i think might give an add on comfort from my research and I want to replace the oem shocks at the same time when i change my rims. Anyone can give me advice if its okay to put 18s or just stick to 17s to be safe? And what tire size would best fit for either both? I would really appreciate some assistance on this. Good day everyone!

I would do 16's and get bigger tires 205/55/16...that should help you on the uneven roads.

For some reason I'm thinking that the roads in the Philippines are not that great, for wheels I would look for something strong and no larger than 17" diameter because you need to keep your sidewall height at least a 50 ratio to prevent blowouts or broken rims in the pot holes and broken pavement encounters.
