Got my MCS today! Will have photos in the morning.

My MA gave me a 45 minute stick-shift lesson prior to taking the car. It's been a blast so far minus the stalls I had at first. Hawaii has way too much traffic :(

I've put almost 100 miles on it already while practicing stick-shift this afternoon, and I've pretty much got it down now.

Can't wait to drive tomorrow!

Awesome! And that was so great of your MA to teach you stick. It gets easier as you drive it more. Enjoy!

Congratulations!
Once you get use to driving a stick-shift it's totally easy. It'll become second nature. Have fun!

Yes. I drove it 365 miles on the first day. I did not go home, my family and I are at a lake on vacation so my Internet is really slow. I will post pics tomorrow. The car is fabulous and I have never had so much fun driving a car. The only problem I am havingis keeping it under 4500 RPM's. Lol.
My wife, who is not a car person, drove the car and her exact word were: "that thing is way too much fun".

Congratulations cop1406! Can't wait to see the pictures! You only have to keep it under 4500 through the break in period - right? And I say the same thing as your wife - that the MINI is way too much fun! My husband loves mine too. Maybe both of us will become two MINI families! Have fun!

Yep, 8 more days to go. It feels like forever.
But, I'll have a lot going on the next several days preparing for our cross country move, so hopefully it won't seem that long.

Congratulations Cop! It's kinda nice that you're on vacation right after picking up your MINI. More free time to play with it!

Only 8 more days!!!!! You can do it. It should go by quickly because of how much work a move takes..... Good luck with the move!

Got in thursday really late but my parents picked me up in my Mini so I got to drive it home. :D. I've got over 300 miles on it now just driving around town for the hell of it and I'll be taking it all the way from Huntsville, AL to Mountain Home, ID a few days from now. I love the car so far

I had a great week. Put over 600 miles on the new MINI. It has been by far the most fun I have ever had driving a car. My wife loves it too. Here are a few pictures of the car.
