FYI, I've found http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/ to be the best way to track ships... you can watch the Celine on her way out...
Any search suggestions?
Thanks

I'm hoping my MINI makes it onto the Faust which leaves Southampton on April 19 and arrives in New York on April 28. I've been checking the WW website everyday, but no hits for my VIN yet, although there have been some that were very close. I wonder, do they assign VIN numbers sequentially?
Oh well. Just trying to sit tight and remain patient.
How's everyone else doing with their waiting game?

Yay, another Tijuca fan!
I did this last year.. for anyone else that's also on the Tijuca, it will be cruising by a nice high-res webcam on monday sometime... let's see if we can screen capture it!
Here are my shots from last year: http://www.kitsune.cc/mini/

Yes - once it's out of radio range, I believe that you'll see it late Sunday or early Monday, in Halifax.

The wait is almost over!
It's so cool to see you excited Tijuca, Morning Celine & Faust "trackers". It's exactly what I went through tracking the Elektra a couple of weeks ago. The North Atlantic 'hole' is a painful wait, but you'll have tracking the ships once they reach side of the "pond".
So.... My MINI landed in Halifax aboard the Elektra on April 5th and arrived in Montreal by CN rail April 15th. Today I received an e-mail from my MA that my MINI will be trucked to Ottawa and will be ready for pick-up on April 21st !!!!!!
I think I have a name picked out, but will have to wait and see if it fits once I drive the car. Stay tuned....

Follow the directions in the "How to track your MINI" thread in 1st gear... but essentially, put your VIN into the "cargo ID" field of the WW tracking website... if it's scheduled, you'll see the ship name. If not, it's sitting in the parking lot at the end of the dock waiting. (OR, you're on a K-Line ship that won't ever tell you which ship.. you'd think they'd improve their end-user tracking abilities...)

Figuring out the ship is kinda hit & miss. I got lucky and found my VIN listed on the WW site as having arrived at the Southampton dock. It listed the expected departure ship.
If your VIN is not listed on the WW site, keep trying as it may take a day or two to catch up to reality.
Make sure you've read this thread as it's got all the details... https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d-updated.html

You can track your ship across the Atlantic to Halifax! Use this link:
http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/index.html#search
And type in the name of your ship in the spot that says "Search for one ship by name". You'll see dots on the map showing your ships progress. These dots are actually where the ship has sent a weather report in. A few ships don't report in for this so you can't track those, but most do. I just tracked the Undine across the Atlantic. She just dropped my MINI off in New York yesterday. I should have mine soon - I'm hoping for next week. Too exciting

I don't think I can breath!!!! My MA just emailed that my MINI will be at the dealership later today and I can pick it up Monday or Tuesday. So of course I requested Monday! Now I have to figure out how I'll get through the weekend! I wonder if I could hang out at the dealership to get a peak at it???
