First MINI - need local shop in Charlotte, NC
Greetings NAM. It will be official on Monday, I am picking up my first MINI!!
2005 MCS w/ Prem & Sport etc.
Blue with White and Grey w/ Blue interior
I am thrilled and cant wait to start driving it. I have been reading through NAM over the last couple of weeks and the information here really helped educate me on what to look for in a used R53.
The previous owner told me that both rear shocks need to be replaced and he had bought one for the RR but did not have one for the LR. I like the think that I am mechanically inclined however can anyone recommend a good shop to work on my new MINI for this and other issues in Charlotte, NC or Monroe?
I am glad to have Hendrick here but I would like a relationship with a local shop as well.

Hello, congrats and welcome to NAM, try going to The Tar Heel Mini Motoring Club. There are many members like myself all over the state, someone my know of a local shop in your area. http://www.tarheelminis.org/
If you don't mine driving to Thomasville there is a great mechanic at Grassroots Garage who works on minis. I have taken my mini there for service, and Dan the owner/mechanic is great. He is a Tar Heel Mini Club member also. http://grassrootsgarage.com/ Good luck and welcome.
