Hello! Can't Wait to Motor!
Greetings and salutations!
I wish I'd found this site sooner... would have been nice to have folks to commiserate with while enduring the wait. I'm an expectant, soon-to-be owner of my first MINI. I know it came over on the Undine and made it to the New York VDC on June 3 so it's only a matter of time now.
This seems like a great community... look forward to learning my way around, both here and my new best friend on the road.

Bedivere is home! Pictures to come soon, once it's not raining outside.
Also got to drool over a 2010 JCW World Championship 50 Limited edition while waiting for some of the paperwork at the dealer. Numbered limited run of 500 (#406 was there; the numbers are set into the scuttles)... Connaught Green with a white top and bonnet stripes, and John Cooper's signature on one of the stripes.

Already thinking about the first mods I may or may not make.
I definitely am going to be investing a few dollars for a shorty type antenna mast and a new shift **** (the only thing that doesn't feel good in the car). I'm also debating whether or not it would be worth dropping one of the reusable air filters in to get a little more out of the engine, or if I should just replace the grille or possibly experiment a bit... there's an odd 'white-out' scheme I was batting around, but I'm not sure I'm ready to go that far just yet.
