Of course you were all correct (We are a 2 mini family now)
My first post generated many responses that proved prophetic. The basic theme was; lots of two mini families started with "The wife got a mini..."

Herbie Hind's little micro beast is now mine. He is a really nice guy, helped get a bunch of loose ends done, gave me a full tank of gas, a couple boxes of spare parts, and now I am just waiting UPS for some upgrades. Thanks John, You are a great guy.
It won't be on the road until next week, but just as well, I have lots to do this weekend anyway and it will be nice to not have the mini temptation involved. Next week it is getting new brakes and pads all around, a rear swaybar, new tensioner and damper and some darker glass. It was running strong, drives tight, but it needs a new tune I think to bring out the be(a)st in it, which will be on the short to do list....other than that I just plan to burn gas.
I hearby dub the new ride, The Micro Beast.
Seems to be a perfect match for me, not a trailer queen, well maintained, whipped into submission already, just in the need of a good home.
Stock sport suspension, H-Sport Rear bar, K&N HAI, 15% pulley, alta full exhaust ,mm oil cooler, auto meters, modded bpv, konig 16's ,faulkins, green stuff pads pinching Zimmermann's, m7 strut brace, webb head, methanol inj, 380cc helix's ,giac tune, m7 cc .
Wife's response when I said I was getting a mini... "good, now you will leave mine alone." (She is correct.)

We need to start an Official 2-MINI Family Club
Nice looking MINI man, congrats. I got mine a month after my wife got hers...I'm at 3000 miles and she's almost at the 1200 mile break-in. I'm beginning to feel slightly guilty but so far she's OK with it. The cool part is that she's starting to take interest in some of the mods I'm doing. She's asking more about the Joey Mod. 2-MINI families are great!!!
