You must have the turbo charged Owner's Lounge....... My log-in certainly does not show dates. Where are you seeing that?

the ETA should be displayed somewhere near the production number and other details.

I am sure the MINI site is just an estimated date.

 

Still no MINI ........ MA does not seem to know anything other than it checked into port on the 12th.......

 

So, I have a Mayfair "S" that was transported in the same shipment as yours on the Glorious Leader. It also is going to NW Mini in Fife (Tacoma) with an estimated delivery to dealer 7-17 2010. You think we can get our new Mini's Friday or Saturday??

Now all I will need is to refit the audio a bit, this Mayfair has all the other bells and whistles that we like already. Have never ventured into Mini's or BMW. Hope this will be a RELIABLE car.......

No H/K $500 upgrade. Didnt want the premium package with its auto air/con. or the H/K. Didnt like the sound of either audio systems offered. But, my background, family of musician's and past mobile electronics system design/installation makes me a bit fussy in that regard.

Went with JL 3 way components in front (discontinued), pillar mount tweets, Focal 6.5 components in rear, JL 900/5 for power and processed thru a Rockford 362 DSP from factory head unit. Sub, JL 10W6 in Urban Mini enclosure. Signal grabbed from X399 (cant remember exact #) connector for full integration of stock controls/ipod interface..........

That should work......, also security with full back up system.....

 

Sounds like you know your sound system stuff. I like the auto air in my GM truck when traveling in really hot places, less fiddling.

For the MINI to help in that regards - going for ceramic tint on the sunroofs.
