I am a new addition to the membership. I am not currently an owner but am in the market. I have been instructed by my wife to sell my 1968 chevelle and buy a car that I can actually drive as a second vehicle. I have always liked the mini and have made a decision to purchase one. Nothing new, maybe around $10K. I am looking for any information to help me make a sound purchase. I am excited to actually get started. It is a 180 degree turn from my beautiful chevelle but I think it will make the wife much happier!!
...wait until Hot August Nights is in town. You can get a fortune for your Chevelle and then double your MINI budget! I'm going on past experience...lived in the SF Bay area and went to HAN with our old muscle cars. Good luck and keep us posted...
Good luck in your search. Sometimes handling is more fun than speed, and that's not to say you can't get in trouble with a MINI. My Valentine One has saved me plenty just recently. Enjoy the MINI experience, and welcome.
