Hello from Orange County, CA!
Hello my name is JT.
Last Saturday (7/10) I purchased a 2004 Chili Red MCS MC40 and named him Herbert.
Since then I've purchased Herb some goodies:
- ValentineOne (V1) Radar Detector
- Garmin nuvi 660
- Kuda Leather GPS Mount and Holder
- MINI Auxiliary Input
- MINI Audio Cable
- OutMotoring Stubby Antenna
- H&R Lowering Springs
- Milltek Gen 1 Exhaust System
- Alta V2 Cold Air Intake
- Alta V2 Supercharger Pulley (15%)
- Denso Iridium Spark Plugs
- Kingsborne Firebraid 8mm Ignition Wires
- Thule Aero Roof Rack System
- Yakima Basketcase + Net
Now I'm just waiting for all of the parts to come in so I can get them installed.
See yah in the 714, kids...

Welcome to NAM! Now with all those mods, don't forget one of the most important things of all, good car care products and the knowledge behind on how to use them properly. Come by my shop sometimes in Anaheim. There's an excellent BMW/MINI shop in my complex as well and we are freeway accessible!

As far as this shop goes, does it have a name? I am currently looking for a MINI Specialist in "The OC". I've reached out to Danny at MiniCorsa and Matt at SoCal MINI Cooper.

Thanks for the ALTA Purchase, but more importantly congrats on the new car. The MC40 is a great package and out of all the MINI's I've had the pleasure of owning, its one I have yet to own!
Congrats again! Let me know if I can help with any other mod stuff! Chat soon!

PS. How many MINI's do you own...?

Hey guys,
I've had Herbert for a little over 2 weeks and loving him more and more every day. I find myself making poor excuses to get out and drive, or just taking the long way home from work/school...
So far I've installed the following:
- Hardwired the ValentineOne (V1) Radar Detector
- Kuda Leather GPS Mount and Holder for Garmin nuvi 660 (GPS Included)
- OutMotoring Stubby Antenna
- H&R Lowering Springs
- Milltek Gen 1 Exhaust System
- Denso Iridium Spark Plugs + Kingsborne Firebraid 8mm Ignition Wires
- Thule Aero Roof Rack System
- Yakima Basketcase + Net
Now that my Summer Semester is over I will have a lot more free time to finish these mods:
- Alta V2 Supercharger Pulley (15%) + new belt
- MINI Auxiliary Input + MINI Audio Cable
Thanks for the welcomes, comments, and support! The MINI community has been 1000% easier to deal with than the Import Scene, so THANKS!

Yesterday I left work a little early and drove down to Windigo Independent BMW Service to have my Alta V2 Supercharger Pulley (15%) + new belt installed.
As mentioned in many posts, the pulley provided the most noticeable gains. (Maybe because this was the last part installed?) I would recommend this to anybody on the fence about it, but remember to calculate labor into each mod.
COMING SOON:
- MINI Auxiliary Input + MINI Audio Cable
- Short Shifter
BIG THANKS TO: Richard (@OctaneGuy) who referred me to the shop and Dale, Ralph, Geoff, & Kyle from Windigo.

Awesome!! You're welcome! It was a pleasure meeting you and hanging out. Let's check out your paint next time!
I have the ultimate one stop location now, heh heh. Come down to do some mods at Windigo, then walk over and get some Prima and training on your paint...or do it while you wait for the work to be done at Windigo.
For anyone else interested, here is their contact info. They've been in business 24 years doing BMW and German autos, the owners and mechanics are BMWCCA instructors.
