Is This a Good Deal?
I am about to pull the trigger on a 2005 "MCS" with 32,000 miles.
It has the panoramic sunroof, climate control, leather etc. It is listed for about $14,000. Does this sound like a good deal? I am traveling 2-3 hours tomorrow to see it and maybe buy. Compared to others it seems like a decent deal but I need a second opinion. It needs new tires but otherwise appears to be in good shape. Any opinions?

Have you run the pricing on Edmunds.com as a comparison? It is supposed to be the most accurate online pricing site, since it is based on actual sales instead of asking prices.
On the surface, it sounds like a pretty good price. Hard to know, though -- dealer or private sale? How many owners? Maintenance records? Accident history? Lemon law issues? Is maintenance up to date? Other repairs needed? Smoker or non-smoker car? Flood damage? Hail damage? Any repainting done?
Have you run a VIN check for any title issues?
Lots of questions to ask the seller!
