not your standard engine air filter

Located the engine air filter but it is a cone shape from what I can see. Cannot fine a replacement after market listing. Has anyone come across this? Our Mini is a 2005 Cooper S.

Many cone shaped filters are cleanable, such as K&N. You need to post photos for a better chance people can tell you what you have. Taking it in to a parts store may be a good way if photos are a problem.

Yeah, sounds like a K&N but pics or a model number would be good. Check around the throat to see if it's printed there.

Post a pic and we'll know what it is.
