Last year I got car insurance from Liberty Mutual under the Mini Motoring Insurance deal. The deal is supposed to include towing to the nearest Mini dealership, but I found out this weekend that did not get put in my policy. So if you have Mini Motoring Insurance, be sure to check with your agent to make sure you're getting all the benefits you should be.

As a side note, I need to compliment Liberty's customer service this weekend. The rep had no knowledge of the Mini deal, but I led her to the details on Mini's web site and she said it seemed like I should have the towing coverage. She took my number, checked with somebody and called me back ten minutes later saying she would pre-authorize a tow for me (which I turned out not to need) and patched me through to roadside assistance to set it up. She was very nice and helpful, unlike the folks I had to deal with at 21st Century. I got disconnected so ended up scheduling the tow with a different person, but all my info was there for her to see what was going on and we had no trouble at all.
