More Alohas From the Big Island

Hi Everyone

I just bought my PW/B in July. Just learning this new form of communication about Minis so I'll try to describe it (and you can see in my sig).

It's a 2010 S manual trans. in PW/B with a dash of red (small red stripes outside the black on the hood), with MP3 and Bluetooth. Hope I didn't forget anything.

It's great how all the Mini owners wave and shaka to each other on the road here.

Loving the driving experience more than anything I've ever driven. SO much fun, now I don't mind the drives to Kona and Hilo and I can't wait to get on the road every day!

Congrats on on the MINI... I like the black & red striping. Adds a little unique touch.

Congrats Susan on your new ride. There are so many Coopers where I live no one waves anymore. I think that sucks. Keep and

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your MINI in Hawaii, Last time I was there it seemed like a lot of the cars were ridden hard and put away wet. Keep it clean and free of bumps and salt spray.

jtbrown, onetigerlsu, MCSFanBoy, BensMini - thanks for the kind welcome and glad to meet all of you!

It really is great to be in a place where there are fewer Minis so we feel a sense of comradery in passing each other on the roads. However they are becoming more common so we may see a Mini club form eventually. Hoping to hear from some other enthusiasts here so we can start one.

Thanks, BensMini, for the wise advice!

Love all your great Mini photos in the signatures I see!
