New Member - NOT New to MINI!
My yellow mini celebrated her 2nd Birthday with me in Jan 2010...with 53,000 miles on her! I have a 2007 with 6 on the floor. One of my daughters has a Blue 2005 (automatic) and the other has a 2006 Red Convertible (alas, also an automatic.)
I used to race Alfa Romeos professionally and have owned Mercedes, Cad's, Lexus...you just name it....finally found a REAL Car! Will NEVER go back!

Greetings ggladstone! Even though you're already an experienced MINI driver, welcome to the forums nonetheless! I can imagine when the daughters are over, your driveway must be a gorgeous spectacle of colours! All primary hues as well, you need to post a pic of that! I love that your MINI obsession is a family affair as well, I'm currently trying to convince my sister that she wants a Clubman! Welcome and may you enjoy many miles of motoring.

That's easy and fun. You need an amateur radio license to transmit. $16 bucks I believe and couple of Qs from high school. Then get little device with GPS chip inside. Bought or DIY. The whole thing is called APRS (automatic packet radio system) it's from last century but cool. Free also. PM me if you could not find info on this site. We discussed it here extensively several MINI people have it.
