My Clubbie went production statis on 15 Nov and completed on 23 nov. Waiting for final inpection and ready for Southhampton on 24th.
Hope it will catch a ride on the next boat heading to America. Anyone know how long to the east coast port of Brunswick Ga.? MA says that's the port. The dealer is only 6 or 7 hour drive from there.

What dealer did you purchase from? You sound like you might be close to me perhaps.
Happy thanksgiving!!

Squonk,
I ordered from Pensacola Mini. Good guys and very helpful. How far is that from where you are? Maybe we could meet half way for a brake-in motoring. Did you order in Atlanta?
I have noticed no one here talks prices, is it taboo or something. All the other car forums make a big deal about rebates, discounts and what they paid. I was a Rx8, Jeep, Corvette, Audi and Harley forum member and they have a lot of talk of prices. I did see 1 thread here about a secret dealer $1000 rebate but it died. What gives?
Check "askmini" today - awaiting transport. I guess the little guy is sitting in some big dark, damp parking lot waiting to get his passport and broading pass.

Hey Bruce, no Lil Guy isn't sitting around some parking lot, although he did sit yesterday as on Tueseday he got a bath, a medium polish job and the wheel got a first rate polish job. He's got 908 on the clock as of tonight coming to work. At work he got his own car cover put on so the birds can't do poo poo on him. Cold tonight, also. 18 degrees....brrrrrrr.
As for deals, I got, if you don't remember, $1500 off from the dealer on my initial deal, plus full rubber floor mats, including the boot one. JCW optional side scuttles and the Mini/BMW part of the $1000, so I only got $500 but got hooked with the 3.9% interest rate, which their deal now is .09%. I think that I got the short end of that, though. I'm going to be buying out the back end on that, so the five year loan will be paid off in three.
I felt that I got an extremely good deal, comparing with others, especially in my area. They have to deal with either, Omaha or Bloomington, MN, neither are very good at dealing, I am told.
Optional equipment that I have added are the Playtapu from Craven license plate off set, winter tires on the Black Challenge wheels, stub antennae, and the M7 turbo insulator shield is suppose to be here tomorrow or on Monday. That's it for now. My Spring additions will be the DoS intake, OZ or equivilent wheels in either 17" or 18" still up in the air about that, and one size up as I have done on the Winter tires. Then, maybe a Helix intercooler upgrade. Then, I think that I'm done. Oh yes, I have H&R sport springs and carbon fibre outside door handles and hatch handle.
That will be all, so that I can finish Ole Nelly, the 38 Ford Standard Tudor Sedan hotrod, era 1961. That should hit the streets this next Spring.

What ever gave you that idea? Yes, you're right. I've been into hotrods since I was 15 years old and saw my first 36 Ford 3-window coupe that was just found in a farmers barn. Crappy army green and all.
My 38 project is a seven year long project that is finally coming together now. No, I'm not doing the work myself, but engineering most all of it. And, as you can imagine, it is hemi powered, 1957 Dodge (what they call a baby hemi) 325 ci and will be in the 365 hp category.
Hence, you can understand MORE the JCW ways of mine, and not being able to leave anything alone.

Hey Bruce! Although I live in the Atlanta area, I'm buying my car in Knoxville, TN. I may be up for a 1/2 way motoring trip, but the Mrs. has our first baby in the oven right now, so I'll need to play that by ear!
So, I got a call from the dealer this AM, the car is not actually at the dealer yet. Their computer says it arrived Wednesday night, but it did not. Hopefully it will roll in for a delivery later today or tomorrow.
Does this mean I can go out and buy a new TV for black friday if I can't pick up the Clubman???

Hi guys I am waiting for my Chili Red MCS (black alloys/xenon/black headlights/black driving lights/bonnet stripes/JCW grill and black bezel and eventually Lyles Vinyl Styles black vinyl scuttles) to be shipped and have been trying look up the shipping info on the WW site. I know that it has been covered a few times in these forums but every time I try to track, I get an ATT sign in page. Exactly where should I go on the site to put in my vin and find ship, etc? Thank you.

Thanks
Thanks Third Rail. I found the problem... WW site doesn't like Safari. I used Firefox and got right through although they seem not to know of my Mini. Odd since its status changed to "Awaiting Transport" on 20 November. Gonna call MA and Ask Mini Monday. BTW, I am planning on being at Helenblitz. Hope to meet you there.

Well, no tv and no car for me. The dealer still does not know where the car is nor when it will arrive. It boggles the mind how they cannot know where it is. We are leaving Knoxville tomorrow at 1:00 with or without the new car. I know they want to book the sale in November but it takes a car to do that.
I brought up the 1000 rebate/credit and he said they know-nothing about it and that I've already gotten such a good deal...
I may need to cancel and try again from the Atlanta dealers if they keep dropping the ball.
