Its pretty good, but kinda sweet, so I have it as a treat.
HAHA, I was just reading that thread. I'm going to try to behave though... it will be so hard!
My MA emailed me back within an hour of my email saying he'd get my production number to me shortly. Then nothing. Why do I have a weird feeling about that?

Hello...am a newbie and this is my first post.
We are eagerly awaiting birth and delivery of our 2011 HzB/B MCS.
Ordered on 03/14/2011...MINUSA says as of today, baby is currently in the
body shop and will be complete by 03/23/2011 (not sure if that's the day
if comes out of production or just the body shop). My MA estimates
delivery by late April or early May. I see that shipping alone to this
side of the country takes 21 days.
Fortunately, I found and joined this community and have been lurking
these past few days...let me tell you, this site contains a wealth of
information on everything about MINIs. I just spent much of the weekend
going through this site.
The wait is torture!

Welcome. Sounds like you ordered almost exactly the same car as me and right about the same time. Mine finished production today and is awaiting transport. Based on the schedules, it looks like we will be on the Undine with port arrival in SoCal around April 23 (departure April 1). Funny enough my brother ordered a M3 and looks like it will also be on the same boat.

Nice color! My HzB/B should be hitting Port Baltimore on Thursday 2 days if all goes as scheduled with the ship [that hasn't reported it's location for 7 days now and counting ]. As for your Completion Date, that should be the day it's ready to leave the factory and head for Southampton Port.

Lovely!
I just got my production number and logged in with the MINI Owner's lounge. Is it normal for the color to be wrong when it actually is still on order? Its saying Black Metallic. I thought I read another post somewhere that said it would change once production started or something.
Might take me awhile to respond. We fly out today around 4am.

Yeah - a CAI should be fine....how long does the DoS CAI take to install? Hour or two max? Too lazy to look up...

Finally, the TOPEKA is back on the radar, after about an 8 day absence after leaving Southampton. She's currently off the shore of Virginia Beach, to be heading up Chesapeake Bay toward Baltimore throughout today. Looks like ETA is around 5pm Wednesday. Hopefully the wheels of our MINIs (I know at least 3 of us on the forums are on this ship) will be on shore by morning and into the VDC on Thursday.
Note - depending what ship tracker site you're using, she may still be showing last update 8 days ago. I'm using www.digital-seas.com at the moment.

Absolutely. Glad to see the TALISMAN is tracking on the ship-trackers, that will certainly help make things seem like they go faster. I can say, the lack of ship tracking movement of the TOPEKA for 8 days was absolutely painful and dragged on forever. I even googled a couple different days looking for news stories in case of any issues with a ship named TOPEKA . I guess fortunately, I did not come across any.
