ditto on the vin#. also, check the edge for smooth paint. if the paint edge is rough, then it's probably been repainted. factory paint job have smooth edges throughout the car.
Do you think it's a homemade hood? Can't think it would be worth the effort to cut and hammer out an after market product even in cheap labor Bangladesh or Iraq considering the shipping cost.
