Hi, I just bought a new 2010 Cooper, 6 speed, Chil Red with white top. My brother has had a Mini for a while and he has enjoyed it so much I decided to follow suit. This is the latest in a series of British cars for me; I just sold a 2006 Jaguar and also have 2 MGBs. So far, I am really enjoying it.

Welcome to MINI ownership. My '07 follows a couple of Bugeye Sprites and Morris Mini. This MINI is a TOTALLY different experience! Hope you enjoy it as much as I am.

Grats! Chili Red/White is a great color combo, and good call on a three-pedal car

Congrats, I've owned a couple MGB's and an MGC so I know it's in our blood.

Congrats on your MINI purchase. If I didn't know better I would say my MINI could not have come from merry old, so far in its first year it has performed flawlessly. It has started, stopped, and run without unexpected halts, headlights, turn signals, all working, no parts falling off with an adequate heater and air conditioner. The above things were not possible with my MG's a TD, A and B, Austin Healey 3000 and bug eye Sprite, Jaguar 120 and E-Type, Triumph TR3 and Morris Minior. The Lotus Super Seven and Seven A were strictly race cars and trouble is the name of that game.

So enjoy your MINI and may the Prince of Darkness never bother you.
(p.s.- POD is Mr John Lucas for the young onnes out there).

Now there is a list! I am impressed.
