Looking for a Mini S

Well, financially I can't afford to keep my GTO. I found an incredable deal on an 03 Mini S with 9500 miles for only $10k.

Pending the deal works out(trade in value for my GTO will be the deciding factor), I'll be driving home a Mini owner.

Can't wait to start modding then thing because its going to be a huge change of pace going from a low 12 sec DD to this but the sound of a supercharger makes it all worth it.

Advise, things to look for, mods, ect.. I'm open ears!

Here's a buyer's guide for the R53. As thirdrail said, get a PPI at either a dealer or independent MINI shop before signing for the car. IDK about hate, but there sure is a lot to love about these cars!

Yea, the GTO is a fake Pontiac. Nothing for it is cheap. It is just crazy that I could of had a Viper for the same cost of upkeep as I pay for it. I do love the car... but its time to go. Took 6 months to get new seat covers when the rear seats tore and I can't even go to a dealer and get a key, they have to be special ordered precut from Australia. How do you tell you boss you lost your only key and you need to take vaca early :-) Granted not having a second key is dumb, but when they are $400 you keep telling yourself I've never lost keys before lol
