with the wrong wheels. I haven't taken delivery yet; MA just sent a snapshot as it was being fueled before dealer prep. I expected the new 5-spoke 15" wheel but the beast is fitted with the classic spooler design.

Just emailed the MA; waiting for a reply. I'm at the office and can't check my original order sheet -- but I vividly recall pointing at a car on their showroom floor with the 5-spoke wheels and saying "I want those" as the order was built.

Picking it up on Saturday; what kind of latitude do the dealers have to make right this kind of issue? What should I press for? I'm expecting to buy another set of wheels next year for summer tires -- ask for a discount on a set now?

Advice would be appreciated... Thanks!

UPDATE: Yay, my memory is still functional: MA just responded by email, acknowledging the error and saying "it will be taken care of". Guess they have extras floating about, even though it's a new wheel design for 2011. I assumed they might not so early in the model year, hence the need to consider other options. Good service!

Congrats! Reading this reminded me of waiting for my MINI's to arrive. It's killer when they hit the dealer lot and you have a couple of days before you can pick it up....hang in there. Beautiful car...my first MINI was CR/W.
