Greetings from Alaska

Bought my daughter a 2007 Mini (no S) this summer. Looking at ways to educate myself on the removal/replacement of the clear plastic cover over the right rear tail light. Someone at her school put a nice crack in it right over the amber turn signal part of the tail light assembly.

I hope I can replace the cover without buying the entire assembly.

I'm gonna show her this site and see if she's interested in learning a bit more about her car, and how others deal with issues as they come up.

Welcome, bad news is you need a tail light. They are not made to replace just the cover. shoot me an email and I'll get you one, I don't have them on the site, but we do sell them.

Welcome! Very lucky daughter. If I was lucky I would get to drive my parents old LeBaron, hmmm.

You could take this as an opportunity to upgrade to led lights or some other fun tail light. A search on eBay should bring some good results. Good luck!
