Greensboro, NC mechanic for EBAY Inspection.
We found another vehicle we really like in Greensboro, NC but before we purchase it we need to get a thorough diagnostic test. Not the "eyeball" test from the ones EBAY suggest.
I looked at some BMW forums in the area and just figured perhaps someone here may have a recommendation. I read good/semi good reviews from Eurobahn Motorsports. Any idea how much I can expect to pay for this kind of thing?
This forum rocks.......

Eurobahn is a BMW/Mini shop, so they should have the right diagnostic/scan tool. They are located off I-40 west of Greensboro; a few miles farther west is the Flow Mini dealership in Winston Salem, also just off of I-40 (easy access). I don't know anything more about either place.
I also don't know what they charge for an electronic diagnostics, but if you mean by that just scanning for fault codes, that shouldn't take long. If you want a complete pre-purchase inspection (PPI), that takes longer; like over an hour. It will include the fault scan and also "eye-ball" scans and tests to catch any existing problems (such as a crash repair), and what may lie ahead in the near future (such as new brake pads, rotors, battery, etc.). You can call and ask what they charge for the scan or complete PPI. This would be an all labor job, and they all have set labor rates, so the charge will be based on how long it takes. I would expect to pay somewhere between $120 and $170 for a complete PPI.
