Hi. I love my Mini Cooper S. So does my dog. He's been chewing on the seat belt and I suspect that's why it's stuck.

Any advice as to how to break into the casing to see if I can't smooth it out and patch it?

You can't smooth it out or patch it - it's no longer be safe for the use it's intended - you need to replace it. Don't take a chance, the life you save could be really important to you!

And get Fido something else to chew on besides your MINI!
