Hello from Marlboro (without nicotine)

Hey everyone,
Here is me, an expat from Turkey, motoring between Marlborough and Boston everyday. I see a lot of minis on the mass pike, hello to all that I pass by or that pass by me

Welcome to the forum, do you miss Turkey? Seems like a very interesting place.

Thanks for the welcome notes, everyone.
I was born and raised by Mediterranean, so I don't really like the cold, but snow has its perks, like snowboarding
I do miss Turkey, especially the food. Turkey is a very inexpensive alternative to South of France, Italy or Greek islands vacations. In addition to pristine beaches, we have tons of inland beautiful sights as well; like Cappadocia.
Strongly recommended.

Hello espedaire. Check out the Mass Motoring Club at www.massmotoringclub.com. We are putting together a bunch of activities for next year starting with a Frozen Wiener Roast in February.

I know the area well. Used to live in Boston several years ago. Tell us about your MINI!

I have a Chili Red MCS Convertible with painted wheel valences (I am not sure about the package name, it was like that at the dealership) and black roof. I love it. I got her in September and already have 28hours on the openometer :D

I got a rear sway bar waiting to be installed, and right after I can get to that, I will fabricate a chassis brace and front strut brace out of chromoly. Hopefully I can make an instructable out of those.

Ah, also I have warm air intake kit that I made using bits and pieces purchased from autozone. Pictures to come soon hopefully. I am a software guy, but I am still not good with technology...

maybe i should have nicknamed myself oxymoron...

That's odd. Must be some kind of mistake.
