Interior LED Lighting

I'm tired of the amber lighting of the interior. One of the products I was looking at was this http://www.fastmini.net/ledinli.html It mentions that the dome light only comes in super white. I'm figuring if i were to get the blue it'd be a nice accent but at the same time since the dome light is only available in super white it would maintain a brightness for the sake of functionality. Does anyone know anyone who's gotten this product? I'd appreciate any thoughts (positive or negative) or recommendations.

Thanks.

i don't know about the 1st gen but don't be afraid to look at ebay. i just did most my interior (not maps or glove box) for about 15$ on my r56. they may not be as good, might not last or whatever but i'm happy with it and it's pretty cheap. they all come from hong kong but 2 of the 3 packages shipped from cali.

I am looking to do the same for my 2006. Depending on how technical you are you're better off getting this:
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=205000_0_0_

I put these into my 540i already and they look great! They dim out just like the incandescent bulbs. I was able to do the front dome, back seat lights, foot wells, trunk, puddle lights and license plate lights seamlessly. I was not able to do any of the 4 round map lights in the 540i.

I have already purchased the lights to put into the mini. This weekend should be warm here in Philly so I'll do it then.

Hmm, I might have to look into that. It sure beats paying 120 for LEDs. I also see that they have them in super white/blue combo. If you get the chance let me know how they look when you get them installed. If you have pics that'd be even better. Thanks.

I had the 1fastmini kit in my old R50. It was easy to install the bulbs and the LED panel for the dome was WAY brighter than stock.
