New guy from Europe
Hi y'all,
I'm Floris from The Netherlands (wich is the country of Amsterdam, legal weed and hookers.. Tulips, wooden shoes and somewhere in Europe, across the waters ). Anyway, I'm new :P
I've bought a US-model R53 MCS last week in dark grey:
Well as I'm planning to do as much of the maintenance as I possibly can, I'm really looking for help finding the right OBDII-scanner, I've read that Equus won't really work on any Mini for example.
Changes/mods planned for this year:
So ehr.. Hi! Hopefully somebody can tell me about the OBDII scanners and let's ride!

Changes/mods planned for this year:
- Renew oil
- Renew filters
- New CAI
- New brake-disks and brake-pads for the front of the car
- New spark-plugs
- Fit a MFS, enable cruisecontrol and audio-functions (maybe the phone too)
So ehr.. Hi! Hopefully somebody can tell me about the OBDII scanners and let's ride!

Also my girlfriend wrecked her car just beforre christmas. A tiny little VW Lupo (not sold in the US) with 100BHP. A van pulled out from behind a building onto the road she drove on, entirely his fault, but still: a lot of hassle. (She's allright by the way, just a little shaken)
I've been told by a parts seller today that an ODBII scanner would be just about worthless for me. I still don't know
