Hi everyone. I am new to this forum and new to the mini market. RIght now my wife and I are deciding on 2011 Pepper White, automatic. I am 48 years old. I love the classic/retro look of the mini's. Am I too old for stripes and some of the other cool accessories? PS, we have mini dachshund also. She doesn't have stripes.

Mark- If it helps, I'm older than you and I have bonnet stripes and a vanity plate, and a grille badge, and a Union Jack tag frame, and...well you get the idea!
Sir, you and your wife aren't too old! You can get a regular Cooper in Pepper White (and there is a metallic white that is nice as well) with a bunch of really neat accessories for a good deal! And your weiner dog is going to fit in perfectly in the Mini

NEVER TOO OLD!!! I'm 58 and never think about it. Get what you like and go have fun.
Ok...you are never too old for stripes...I mean stripes are just the MINI's stuff you know...And don't forget to put some stripes on ur dachshund...make sure they match...
I am your age and am waiting to get my new JCW back from the detailer.
Adding Flat Black Viper Stripes with 1/2" outside red pin stripes on the outer edges. Plus I am having it totally Murdered out. Ok I admit the Red Racing Tow hooks front and rear may be a bit over the top but who cares. You are only as young as you feel. I am planning on tracking the car and have scheduled a 2 day racing school in early Feb with Phil Wicks one on one in his race car at Carolina Motorsports Park. Have fun and enjoy! Life is short!
Thanks everybody. I get the picture now.
To start...I'm thinking 2011 Cooper, Pepper White, black roof and mirrors, Chrome driving Lamps, Sport stripes, Side Scuttle Union Jack and a grille badge yet to be determined.
